About

I'm contra-ethos; this is my blog and a hub for the projects I build in public.

I develop agentic tooling, tiny games, interactive fiction, and experiments in user experience, game design, and AI.

Writing is where I channel my excitement about AI, design, philosophy, and whatever else has my attention.

Projects

Phosphor Sand Rust, WebGPU · alpha · active Gravity Blobs Rust, WebGPU · alpha · active Dice Merge Game Rust, WebGPU · alpha · active Claude Code plugins Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, Logseq CLI These are simply the various things that were worth extending Claude Code with for my setup - they are not much, but a good demonstration of my working philosophy in agentic AI.

Contact

The pseudonym is an aesthetic choice; it's just cool. Read "contra" as 'against' and "ethos" as 'a sense of authority', which fits my love for decentralization and my non-conformist values. IRL, I'm Ethan Porter, your friendly neighborhood designer.
